The Mel Dress Short is a light and versatile version of the Mel silhouette, designed for ease, comfort and everyday wear.
The top is made from a double layer of melange cotton gauze, offering soft structure and coverage. From the hips down, the dress transitions into a single-layer skirt, creating a lighter, more breathable feel with natural movement.
Cut above the knee, the shorter length gives the dress a more casual and playful character, while the side slits maintain fluidity and ease of walking.
The soft crinkled texture of the gauze enhances the melange effect, making it a perfect piece for warm-weather dressing, from beach to city.

shipping and import duties
UK customers are liable to 21% Import Taxes. This is payable to our shipper (DHL) upon arrival in UK before delivery.
We ship to all destinations outside UE on a DDU basis (delivery duty unpaid) which means we are responsible for ensuring goods arrive safely to customers destination and customers are responsible for import duties.
If the recipient refuses delivery of their order for any reason your package will be considered abandoned and disposed of by the shipping carrier and therefore, your order is not eligible for a refund OR if the package is returned because you refused to pay the import duties the cost of returning the parcel to our warehouse will also be deducted from the refund of your order as well as any payed duties.
DELIVERY COST The cost of shipping is displayed directly at checkout and calculated according to your country of delivery. It varies between €12, €20, €25, €30 and €40.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Returns are the responsibility of the customer. Our return address is in Italy and will be communicated to you at the time of the return request.
The packages must be checked by the customer within 14 days of receipt, the claims will no longer be admissible beyond this period.
Send an email to customerservice@ambas.it within 14 days of receipt of the goods to request a return with the following information in the email: Name, order number, reference the product(s) to be returned. All sales are final.
